Job Summary

As a key member of our front office operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the front desk, guest satisfaction, and product quality standards are being met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service Excellence: Ensure that departments achieve or exceed guest's service expectations by providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Scheduling and Staff Management: Prepare team member schedules in accordance with budgets and business forecasts to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
  • Financial Control: Ensure hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables and that the procedures are regularly followed to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Guest Engagement: Recommend local attractions and restaurants for guests to visit and inform guests of all hotel services and amenities to enhance their stay.
  • Human Resources: Manage human resources functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure maintenance requests are being communicated and completed and only clean and functional rooms are being assigned upon check-in.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor daily bookings to coordinate with front desk team and guests when the hotel is oversold on specific room types.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate hotel PMS Systems and multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Leadership Qualities: Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement, ability to work well in stressful situations, and readily available and approachable for all guests.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
