Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Front Office Manager in all aspects of the department, including ensuring service standards are followed and providing managerial support for Reception, Royal Service, Fairmont Gold, and Guest Services.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of all Front Office colleagues in accordance with productivity guidelines.
  • Communicate through pre-shift logs, emails, and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation.
  • Train supervisors and fulfill training roles in the absence of the trainer.
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
  • Follow department policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Follow all safety policies.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management is an asset.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Minimum of 1 year previous proven supervisory experience.
  • Ability to handle a multitude of tasks and guest requests.
  • Knowledge of MicrosFidelio Property Management System is an asset.
  • Should possess or seek certification in basic first aid.
  • Strong guest service orientation and training skills background required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Experience with a Hotel loyalty program is an asset.
  • Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
