FamilyWise Board of Directors

FamilyWise is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's strategic direction and ensuring its continued success in serving vulnerable families.
Key Responsibilities- Institutional Stewardship: Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the organization's integrity and respect for its clients.
- Fiduciary Accountability: Monitor and manage the organization's annual budget, ensuring responsible financial stewardship.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan, driving innovation and growth.
Board members serve for a minimum of two years, committing to regular attendance at monthly meetings and participation in committee work. This includes:
- Monthly full-board meetings, alternating between business and learning sessions.
- Committee work, including marketing, finance, and governance.
As a board member, you will be expected to contribute financially to the organization, leveraging your professional and personal networks to support fundraising efforts. This may include:
- Recurring donations through employer matching programs.
- Participating in fundraising events and activities.
