About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Physician to serve as the Division Director of Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota. This is an exceptional opportunity for a medical professional to lead a team of experts in the field of rare diseases and contribute to the development of cutting-edge clinical care programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care for children and adults with rare genetic disorders
  • Develop and lead the Pediatric Genetics Division into a center of excellence for genetic and genomic research
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance research and clinical initiatives
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Lead the Rare Disease Center of Excellence and oversee clinical operations and research initiatives
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and Pediatric-Medical Genetic fellowship-training program
  • Board-certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics
  • Licensed or ability to obtain medical license and DEA certificate in the State of Minnesota
  • Ability to receive work authorization in the United States
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing strategic plans and leading medical research initiatives
