Work Schedule: Weekdays | 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (subject to variation)

Position Summary:
The Administrative Services & Facilities Manager oversees all administrative and facility operations at the Indian Health Board. This role includes providing administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Board of Directors, supervising maintenance and janitorial staff, and managing procurement and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective operation of the physical premises, acting as a liaison with vendors and utility representatives.
- Coordinate and plan all construction and renovation projects.
- Support the maintenance and management of the organization's phone systems.
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and manage emergency preparedness drills.
- Oversee procurement processes for supplies and equipment.
- Supervise assigned staff and assist with special projects and record-keeping.
- Compile necessary documentation for funding and regulatory reviews.
- Manage security systems and ensure facility safety.
- Participate in various committees focused on Risk Management, Infection Control, and Quality Improvement.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and represent the organization professionally.
- Understanding of patient needs and commitment to confidentiality.
- Knowledge of American Indian culture and a collaborative team spirit.
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience, with 5-7 years in administrative or facilities management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require physical exertion, including standing for extended periods, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting moderately heavy items. Proper training on lifting techniques is essential.
