Position Summary:
The Administrative Services & Facilities Manager oversees all administrative and facility operations within the Indian Health Board. This role includes providing administrative support to the executive leadership and Board of Directors, supervising maintenance and janitorial teams, and managing procurement and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective operation of the facility, acting as the liaison with vendors and utility representatives, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Plan and coordinate construction and renovation initiatives.
- Assist in the maintenance and support of the organization’s communication systems.
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards and oversee emergency preparedness drills.
- Manage procurement processes for supplies and equipment.
- Supervise assigned staff and assist with special projects and record-keeping.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for Board members and staff.
- Participate in committees focused on Risk Management, Infection Control, and Quality Improvement.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in administrative or facilities management roles.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience managing facilities, including vendor contracts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
This position may require physical exertion, including standing for extended periods, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting moderately heavy items. Proper training on lifting techniques is essential.
