As an Assistant Customer Service Manager at Schnucks Markets, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This position requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, team leadership, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Supervise and train checkers and baggers to optimize the checkout process, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
- Assume the duties of the Customer Service Manager in their absence, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Manage the service center, including utility payments, lottery, cash drawer audits, and store safe management.
- Develop and implement schedules for baggers, checkers, U-scan, and service center staff to ensure proper coverage during all business hours.
Requirements:
- Minimum six months of employment with Schnucks Markets, Inc. for internal candidates.
- Must be in good standing, not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline.
- Manager approval required for internal candidates invited for an interview.
Training and Development:
Training will be provided at the store level to ensure your success in this role.
Physical Demands:
This role requires regular bending, stooping, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. You will be working on your feet for extended periods, typically 4-8 hours.
