About the Job

Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Representative to join our team in the Atlanta, GA market. As a Territory Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing a territory of customers in the quick service restaurant industry. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional service, maintain equipment, and increase sales through new products and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance
  • Complete required Ecolab QSR visit reports based on customer visit frequency
  • Install equipment, including warewash machines, water filtration systems, and 3-compartment sinks
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and long-term work plans for the territory and customers
  • Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products by suggesting improvements and new innovations
  • Maintain knowledge of products and their applications for each customer
  • Demonstrate and train customers on the use of Ecolab products and services
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers by evaluating their needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Effectively engage resources to resolve problems
  • Manage inventory by merchandising existing inventory and identifying slow sales in core products
  • Meet with store management to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Complete required paperwork, including customer contact records and territory management system updates
  • Utilize electronic and paper reports to communicate with customers, district manager, and home office
  • Maintain adequate levels of car stock inventory to support customer needs
  • Obtain knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles and their application for customers
  • Complete the ICFSM exam training and become certified in Food Safety
  • Manage emergency calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Manage days out of the field for meetings, vacation, sick/personal time, training, and rollouts
  • Assist in covering open territories as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4 years of food industry experience
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Availability to provide emergency call assistance
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • No immigration sponsorship available
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Mechanical experience and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification
  • Military experience
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience
