Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Generation and Operations Director to lead and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the Real Estate business for the Tampa Cost Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the operational aspects of the Real Estate business, including team organization, financial management, business management, and business development.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, increase revenue, and expand the team and capabilities.
  • Manage the budget, forecast, and financial performance of the business, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Lead assurance, quality reviews, and director audits to ensure the successful and compliant delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with Territory Leads and MD on business planning, strategy, and management of internal committees.
  • Oversee and support the delivery of key project activities, including knowledge shares, relationship management, and new opportunity generation.
  • Manage operations in Turner & Townsend systems, including governance and performance processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant working experience in the consulting construction industry.
  • Experience managing teams and client relations within the Southern Florida market is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Must have experience in Business Development/Generation.
  • Proactive, quality-driven, self-motivated, and hands-on team-leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading teams of professionals with a strength in growing and developing people.
