About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Culinary Lead to join our team at CAVA - Traffic Circle. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the grill and prep teams, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the grill and prep teams, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Be responsible for opening or closing the restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Learn and apply basic food and beverage management principles, including ordering and inventory organization.
  • Develop new leadership skills to lead and motivate the team, driving results and achieving our business objectives.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing team members, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving results.
  • Ability to cross-train across the restaurant, ensuring rapid growth and development of the team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain near-constant communication with multiple people.
