Position Overview: The Project Management Leader will oversee various initiatives within the Substation Operations Department, focusing on training and project management.

Compensation: The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects related to Substation Operations, including training programs and safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and training objectives.
  • Monitor project budgets and control expenditures effectively.
  • Facilitate procurement processes using SAP, including the creation of purchase requests and orders.
  • Address and resolve procurement challenges with precision.
  • Lead long-term projects and programs, adapting to evolving needs.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive project records and reports.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.
  • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and present business cases and budget proposals for projects.
  • Commit to working additional hours as necessary during emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or an associate degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Graduate education or coursework in project management is preferred.
  • Experience in utility construction and project management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A collaborative approach and a customer-oriented mindset are necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification is preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in project management is desirable.
