Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team. As a Project Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit and Qualify Bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Develop Bid Scope Summaries and approval forms to ensure clarity and accuracy in the bidding process.
  • Research and Track new and out-of-town subcontractors to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate and Manage construction drawings and generate RFIs to ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct Subcontractor Safety Orientations and safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Track and Organize safety manuals, SDS, site signage, and barricades to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain Site Cleanliness and relocate staged materials as needed to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Track, Update, and Distribute incoming drawings, bulletins, and submittals to ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Review Submittals for Contract Conformance and manage distribution to A/E to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Track Meeting Minutes and maintain project databases along with project binders to ensure accurate and timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist with Daily Report Preparation and track onsite construction progress to ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and Maintain three-week look-ahead schedules and material status reports to ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders.
  • Support Onsite Supervision, subcontractor productivity tracking, and management to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist in Project Close-Out, including punch lists, as-built drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Computer Applications such as Microsoft Office and Procore.
  • Motivation and Desire for continued growth and learning.
