Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to join our team at Daifuku Automotive America Corporation. As a Project Manager II, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of material handling systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of material handling systems, including power & free conveyors, skid conveyors, electrified monorail systems, and other related systems.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineering, manufacturing, and sales to ensure that projects meet customer requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Conduct site visits and manage subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the required quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in the conveyor, automotive, and/or warehouse industry.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling systems, including power & free conveyors, skid conveyors, electrified monorail systems, and other related systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
