Job Description

This is a full-time onsite position supporting our Pittsburgh, PA location, working Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prioritize and manage orders based on project requirements and deadlines.
  2. Assemble kits according to guidelines and instructions.
  3. Maintain, order, and stock supplies to meet business needs.
  4. Clean and prepare sample coolers for shipment.
  5. Ensure the shipping area is clean and organized.
  6. Process various logs, documents, and databases.
  7. Provide support and guidance on shipping policies and procedures.
  8. Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service.
  10. Promote a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a lab or office setting is preferred.

Required knowledge and skills include:

  • Fundamental principles of shipping.
  • Methods to resolve administrative or technical problems.
  • Ability to learn organizational policies and procedures.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Principles and practices of serving as an effective team member.
  • Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers.
  • Correct business English.
