Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team at Benshaw Inc. in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shipments, monitoring shipping tiles, and ensuring timely delivery of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all packaging for small parcel shipments, including international shipments, and record necessary information for international shipments.
  • Monitor IFS Shipping Tile for shipments and add on for same-day shipments.
  • Print and pull sales orders/parts when Material Control is unavailable.
  • Complete shipments using UPS, FedEx, and IFS, and record tracking numbers.
  • Review stock from backlog for available shipments and clear through the sales department.
  • Review and order free shipping materials from UPS and FedEx.
  • Review and turn in shipping supplies needed for parcel shipments to the Team Leader for purchase requisition.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Freight Packager when necessary.
  • Monitor and respond to Benshaw inquiries through email and investigate issues as needed.
  • Export IFS Complete Shipments Available Tile at the end of the day for open orders not shipped and provide reason for missed shipments.
  • Clean and organize the area daily.
  • Responsible for offloading, visual inspection, and signing of BOL/delivery receipt of receivables after Receiving personnel leave for the day.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping environment and experience with job duties listed above.
  • Experience with FedEx or UPS shipping systems.
  • Comfortable operating a computer and utilizing various programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion throughout a shift.
