About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to join our team at The Habegger Corporation - Illinois/Iowa Regional Office. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through the sale of our HVAC equipment and systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineering firms and mechanical contractors to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Consult with customers to select the most suitable HVAC equipment for their projects, ensuring they meet their design and budget requirements.
  • Organize and attend networking events, such as lunch presentations, off-site customer events, and factory trips, to foster relationships and promote our products.
  • Provide expert knowledge on HVAC systems and equipment, including pricing and specifications, to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as AutoCAD.
  • Ability to lead presentations and handle confidential information.
