Transplant Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transplant Administrator to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating the administrative, financial, regulatory, compliance, and marketing activities of our transplant services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee the section and transplant program budgets.
- Oversight and management of the organ acquisition portion of the Medicare cost report, ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines.
- Management of contracts with payers, including updating and negotiating contracts, identifying new networks, and developing strategic relationships.
- Direct supervision of personnel within the section of Transplant Surgery, including hiring, daily supervision, and terminating when needed.
- Ensuring that all personnel caring for transplant patients are oriented and receive ongoing education regarding program policies and procedures.
- Management of the daily operations of the program.
- Development, management, and maintenance of program policies and procedures.
- Oversight and management of the program's quality assurance/process improvement program.
- Reporting on quality and volumes data to regulatory agencies and insurance payers.
- Responsible for ongoing marketing activities of the section.
- Representation of the Transplant Program within the organization and to outside agencies.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related healthcare experience, with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in a transplant program management position.
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Administration preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, including ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, and hospital departments.
- Knowledge of reporting, compliance, and financial nuances of transplant is beneficial.
