Job Title: Program Coordinator

Overview

The Office of APP Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the management of the APP postgraduate program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key liaison between the program director, trainees, and other stakeholders, the Program Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the program and maintains compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.

ResponsibilitiesAdministration
  • Serves as a liaison between the program director, trainees, and other programs and related agencies.
  • Oversees day-to-day operations of the APP postgraduate training program.
  • Manages and coordinates trainee rotation schedules and on-call coverage.
  • Manages and monitors compliance with institutional and program policies, and all regulatory accreditation, licensure, and certification requirements for trainees.
  • Administers the Residency Management System (MedHub) for the program.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of new systems, administrative policies, and educational strategies for the program.
Program Accreditation & Compliance
  • Utilizes knowledge of APPFA and ARC-PA program requirements to support programmatic compliance.
  • Manages contents of the residency management system, including milestones, surveys, and scholarly activity.
  • Facilitates Program Evaluation, Clinical Competency, and other relevant program-specific committees.
  • Tracks and meets deadlines for internal and external stakeholders, including accreditation, specialty board, and regulatory bodies.
APP Postgraduate Lifecycle
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition in managing the programs interview process.
  • Creates and executes graduation activities and off-boarding for trainees.
  • Participates in trainee remediation to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

An Associate's degree with 3 years of relevant coordination/healthcare experience or the equivalent in education and experience is required. Proven leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting multiple deadlines is essential. Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise-standard technologies, including MS productivity software, is required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience using scheduling systems and resident management systems.
