Front Desk Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Weekend Receptionist to join our team at Los Palos Post-Acute Care Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing our front desk on a daily basis, providing exceptional customer service, and performing various administrative tasks.

About the Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for screening guests as they arrive at the office, informing them of our regulations, and performing various administrative tasks such as distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material available. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to provide basic and accurate information in-person and via email. Additionally, you will receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, maintain office security by following safety procedures, and control access via the reception desk. Your multitasking and time-management skills will allow you to prioritize tasks effectively, while your professional attitude and appearance will contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material available.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via email.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
