Regional Sales and Marketing Manager

Blue Water Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive growth for our assigned property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet budget and drive revenue growth
  • Prospect, lead generation, and closing sales leads for assigned properties
  • Negotiate and close assigned leads for the portfolio, assist property in execution of group or event needs
  • Conduct onsite visits or client visits as needed to close business
  • Maintain and own regular reporting and metric evaluation, support reporting and forecasting for the sales team
  • Participate in team selling efforts to identify and win business opportunities within accounts owned by others
Marketing Support:
  • Identify marketing and sales opportunities for assigned portfolios, support execution of brand initiatives and strategies
  • Oversee all marketing channels per assigned region of properties, provide month-over-month analytics and ROI reports
  • Create and implement strategic market plans to grow revenue in assigned properties
  • Work with property and regional partners to create market sales plans and detailed action plans to grow revenue for assigned properties
Operational Support:
  • Participate in property Revenue/Marketing/Operations calls as needed, a minimum of one per month
  • Support operating budget process as requested

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing; 3-5 years' experience in Sales / Marketing
  • Hospitality Sales Experience, Extended Stay or Corporate Housing experience
  • Group Sales experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Creative thinker, thinks outside the box to create new opportunity
  • Hungry and desire to win are a MUST
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Comfortable with marketing and sales technology (Canva, Adobe, Email Marketing tools, Meta Business, CRM, etc..)
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally (up to 60%)
  • Resides in the Houston Metro area (required)

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is also required to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to twenty pounds
