Job Overview

As a pivotal member of our organization, you will contribute to the ongoing success of Sparrow Company by delivering exceptional support for our innovative products. Your role will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering strong relationships within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhancing the purchasing experience for clients by collaborating closely with sales teams.
  • Serving as a key point of contact between production and sales teams to address quality concerns related to cement products.
  • Advocating for the use of cement and concrete through active participation in industry organizations and trade groups.
  • Providing expert responses to technical inquiries from clients, contractors, engineers, and project owners.
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with regulatory bodies, including state transportation agencies.
  • Facilitating educational seminars on various technical and marketing topics.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to designated service regions.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a comparable construction program is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the concrete, masonry, or cement sectors is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cement and admixture chemistries.
  • Ability to conduct physical testing of concrete, mortar, and grout.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting weights up to 100 pounds.
