Position Overview: The IT Site Support Specialist is tasked with overseeing technical assistance services for all personnel in designated offices. This role is hands-on, requiring the individual to deliver both remote and on-site support while contributing to projects such as storage implementations, server and network enhancements, and mobile computing assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering technical knowledge and user support across Mac OS, Microsoft Windows (Windows 10), Microsoft Office 365, various off-the-shelf applications, Remote Connectivity Platforms, and network/local Client & Canon printers through desk-side, phone, or remote assistance.
- Meticulously logging support tickets and ensuring prompt resolution of first-line issues, or escalating them to specialized support teams as necessary.
- Executing desktop and laptop break/fix maintenance and support.
- Assisting with the expanding mobility platform, including iOS, Android, and Windows-based systems.
- Managing technology onboarding and offboarding asset recovery processes.
- Building PCs and laptops as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the IT Site Support Specialist role will possess prior IT experience, preferably within the professional services sector, alongside exceptional communication skills and a strong problem-solving aptitude. We seek individuals who demonstrate:
- The ability to prioritize tasks based on individual case needs.
- Outstanding customer service capabilities.
- Experience in an ITIL-based Service Desk environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows technologies.
- Familiarity with hardware platforms, including Client laptops and Cisco phones.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, SCCM, and Exchange.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills in WAN, LAN, and desktop scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that effectively represent diverse communities.
