The Trust Administration team at Schwab is integral to the broader RBS Operational Control and System Optimization Team, which supports Charles Schwab Trust Bank. This team is crucial as it manages the initial risk oversight activities associated with the administration of Trust Bank retirement accounts. Through meticulous documentation and due diligence, the team guarantees that all accounts opened adhere to regulatory standards and Schwab's policy requirements. The Team Manager is also tasked with ensuring that third-party entities fulfill their contractual and risk management responsibilities. Additionally, the Manager is accountable for compiling committee reports for various management, risk, and board committees.

This Team Manager will be pivotal in overseeing a small team (currently consisting of 2 individuals), providing training, guidance, oversight, and support. The team frequently collaborates with our Legal and Compliance departments, as well as directly with business partners, presenting numerous opportunities for visibility within the organization and the potential to make a significant impact.

What You Have

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with ERISA, fiduciary oversight for retirement accounts, trust administration, or related bank regulatory experience in the financial services sector.
  • Over 3 years of experience in people management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (including v-lookups, pivot tables, if-then statements, and formulas).
