Job Title: Business Development Manager - Construction

This is a remote position that requires developing relationships with Construction dealers, manufacturers, and end-users in a designated territory. The successful candidate will work with our Credit and Operations disciplines to ensure best-in-class service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the region.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Construction dealers, manufacturers, and end-users.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close profitable business at dealer/vendor and end-customer levels.
  • Grow existing vendor programs throughout the territory.
  • Develop strong business relationships with senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendor customers.
  • Assist in developing new accounts, work, and manage a pipeline.
  • Negotiate transactions, help gather documentation and credit information.
  • Assist in negotiation and deal structuring.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years in construction finance industry, preferably sales, within the territory.
  • Leasing industry knowledge, preferably in the construction or industrial space.
  • Customer service experience.
