Senior Manager

The Senior Manager will lead the effort to improve the auditability of the Army's financial statements and enhance the Financial Improvement Plan's effectiveness as a management tool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, audit, and compliance, with experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures to address financial management weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to improve financial management and audit readiness capabilities.
- Identify and prioritize areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial management regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to Army field operations to ensure effective implementation of financial management policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
Education:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
Clearance:
- Secret Clearance with the ability and intention of obtaining a Secret Clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- GAAP / GAGAS / ICOFR experience is a plus.
- At least 6 years' experience with DoD and/or Army financial management policies and procedures.
