Position Summary: We are looking for an entry-level Environmental Assessment Technician. No previous experience is required; comprehensive training and certifications will be provided on-site. This position entails significant travel to set up and retrieve radon testing kits, gather air samples for mold analysis, and perform water quality evaluations as part of our Home Health Package. The role is largely independent, with minimal team interaction required, focusing primarily on appointment coordination and communication. We encourage the Environmental Assessment Technician to pursue state certification in lead and asbestos inspection to assist our Environmental Consulting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel throughout the designated area to establish and collect radon testing kits.
  • Gather air samples for mold analysis and conduct water quality evaluations.
  • Perform radon, mold air tests, and water quality assessments to identify potential hazards for clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to become a state-certified lead and asbestos inspector.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively.
  • Punctuality and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Effective teamwork with minimal supervision.
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and energetic presence.
  • Aptitude for engaging in professional discussions with clients.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to complete the NRSB Radon Measurement Technician Exam and undergo mold testing training.
  • Ability to pass all employment screenings.
  • Proficiency in personal computing, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Capability to learn and utilize specialized reporting software, with training provided.
  • Reliable transportation for equipment, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
  • Frequent local travel.
