Position Overview:
As a Laboratory Technical Specialist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care through your technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting venipuncture and registering patients in the hospital's registration system.
- Accessioning laboratory orders into the laboratory information system.
- Ensuring the proper handling of patient specimens and verifying patient identification details.
- Maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and standards within the laboratory and hospital settings.

Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma is required, along with additional training or equivalent knowledge.
- Training of up to 18 months beyond high school is necessary for this role.
- Applicants with training from outside the United States must provide documentation for equivalency evaluation to meet CLIA requirements.

Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of six months of relevant job experience is preferred.
