Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field, with coursework focused on semiconductor physics and electronics. Familiarity with electronic component reliability standards such as JEDEC/AEC-Q100 is advantageous. Experience in wafer-level reliability testing is also beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Develop and troubleshoot hardware for reliability assessments of biased products.
2. Assess and qualify CMOS Imaging Sensor (CIS) products for large-scale production.
3. Collaborate with fabrication facilities to evaluate, characterize, and enhance CIS manufacturing processes.
4. Work alongside research and development, design, process, packaging, and product engineering teams to validate new process technologies, ensuring design performance quality meets customer reliability expectations.
5. Prepare internal project summaries for product qualification and evaluation.
6. Present findings in meetings to discuss project outcomes and product challenges.
7. Generate and distribute product reliability release documentation.

Requirements:


- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science (or equivalent) with coursework in electronics and semiconductor physics.
- Proficiency in designing reliability hardware and establishing reliability frameworks.
- Basic understanding of CMOS devices.
- Experience in reliability qualification of integrated circuit components and packages is preferred.
- Knowledge of wafer-level reliability is a plus.
- Familiarity with foundry front-end and back-end reliability testing metrics.
- Previous exposure to component engineering is beneficial.
- Understanding of commercial and automotive reliability standards (JEDEC, AEC) is preferred.
- Awareness of reliability failure modes, mechanisms, and analysis techniques for integrated circuit components is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable collaborating in diverse teams.

The expected annual base salary for this position in California, US ranges from $131,200 to $170,100. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors including relevant skills, experience, and the salaries of employees in similar roles.
