Reliability Assurance Engineer

Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field is required, with coursework that includes semiconductor physics and electronics. Familiarity with electronic component reliability standards such as JEDEC and AEC-Q100 is advantageous. Experience in wafer-level reliability is also beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and troubleshoot hardware for evaluating product reliability under biased conditions.
- Assess and qualify CMOS Imaging Sensor (CIS) products for large-scale production.
- Collaborate with foundries to evaluate, characterize, and enhance CIS manufacturing processes.
- Engage with R&D, design, process, packaging, and product engineers to validate new process technologies, ensuring design performance quality aligns with customer reliability expectations.
- Prepare internal summaries for product qualification and evaluation projects.
- Deliver presentations in meetings to discuss project outcomes and product challenges.
- Compile and distribute product reliability release documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline with a focus on electronics and semiconductor physics.
- Capability to design hardware for component reliability and establish reliability frameworks.
- Basic understanding of CMOS devices.
- Experience in IC components and IC package reliability qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of wafer-level reliability is desirable.
- Familiarity with foundry front-end and back-end reliability testing and metrics.
- Prior experience in component engineering is a plus.
- Understanding of commercial and automotive reliability standards (JEDEC, AEC) is beneficial.
- Awareness of IC components' reliability failure modes, mechanisms, and failure analysis techniques is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
