SBA Account-Based Marketing Strategist

The SBA Account-Based Marketing Strategist is essential in enhancing the effectiveness of our sales representatives.

By fostering partnerships and gaining a deep understanding of our clientele, this role will implement marketing strategies and resources that empower the sales team to secure new accounts and capitalize on opportunities within established accounts.

Through tailored marketing initiatives and resources, the strategist will:

  • Enhance brand awareness, increase market penetration, and boost account engagement.
  • Drive ABM strategies and tailor approaches for significant accounts across various sectors.
  • Identify optimal marketing resources, channels, and messaging for priority accounts.

Utilizing templates, the strategist will develop customized materials for sales representatives to facilitate new account onboarding, ensure compliance, and communicate new capabilities effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Educating the sales team on ongoing and upcoming marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to devise strategies that maximize engagement within high-value accounts.
  • Establishing processes and guidelines for how marketing supports sales requests.
  • Partnering with Vertical and Category Marketing to ensure message accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintaining up-to-date marketing materials that are easily accessible to sales representatives through digital sales platforms.

The ideal candidate will exhibit a blend of independent thought, discretion, strong organizational skills, relationship-building capabilities, and effective communication, all while maintaining a focus on the financial implications of their decisions.

This role necessitates a robust partnership with sales, marketing operations, creative agencies, and customer analytics.

Critical attributes for success include:

  • Innovative thinking and a quick response to market needs.
  • A willingness to experiment with new ideas and processes.
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively across various functions, particularly with sales teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required, along with a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Account-Based Marketing.

A demonstrated history of creating compelling marketing content and a proactive, self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects while balancing strategic objectives with daily execution is essential.
