Senior Engineer - Mission Systems Integration and Simulator Operations

Become a vital part of the Mission Systems Integration team at BAE Systems USA, a premier aerospace organization. We are in search of a proactive engineer to oversee the validation of the collection segment prior to launch and to facilitate mission integration and testing activities following launch for enhancements in mission capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish simulator specifications and use-case scenarios for mission evaluations.
  • Direct mission-level testing initiatives.
  • Create and uphold interface control documentation.
  • Assist in the development of mission CONOPS.
  • Strategize and implement ongoing mission systems integration and testing efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful technology implementation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Proficiency with spacecraft simulators and testing operations.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with mission operations software.
  • Experience in verification processes utilizing Python.
  • Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
  • Background as a test director in aerospace projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to lead group discussions.
Compensation:
$137,500
