Patient Care Coordinator

Job SummaryThe Patient Care Coordinator works in the front office of our medical clinics, responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, activating patient files, and moving patients through a pre-determined protocol to ensure a smooth visit with our clinic providers.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Registration: Greet incoming patients in person or over the phone in a friendly and professional manner, complete pre-visit planning, and register new patients.
- Administrative Support: Collect co-pays and payments, answer inbound calls to schedule patients, and act as a liaison to clinical staff for patient questions.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to new and existing patients, actively listen and respond appropriately, and maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
- Organizational and Time Management: Complete administrative duties to ensure the patient's visit is smooth, billing can be processed in a timely manner, and the front office remains clutter-free and organized.
- Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a business office or clinical environment
- Skills: Strong computer skills, customer service experience, and ability to work in a group but complete assigned tasks individually
