Position Overview:

The Operations Support Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency within our organization. This position is dedicated to assisting the Section Lead by gathering information, performing data entry, conducting analysis, and resolving issues related to work planning and control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders and change requests in accordance with established protocols.
  • Generate and update reports in Excel to provide status updates on change order requests.
  • Collaborate with project controls, project management, finance, and operations teams to expedite and track the status of purchase and change orders.
  • Support the review of change orders in line with the client's approval procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring and reviewing project invoices.
  • Help maintain and oversee a change order log.
  • Participate in the review of contractor closeout documentation.
  • Manage data inputs and modifications across multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Organize financial meetings to discuss change order statuses.
  • Prepare cost reconciliations between various estimates and clarify variance cost drivers.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and trade contractors.
