Real Estate Tax Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in our Real Estate Tax Practice at Andersen, you will play a key role in the tax planning and consulting process for a diverse range of real estate clients. Your expertise will be sought after to identify and research complex client issues and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and preparing tax returns;
- Collaborating with the engagement team to identify and research complex client issues and recommend solutions;
- Drafting technical tax memoranda;
- Providing regular updates to clients;
- Assisting in project management of compliance and consulting engagements;
- Supervising, training, and mentoring Associates and Interns;
- Receiving formal corporate tax training, on-the-job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 2+ years of relevant work experience;
- Leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment;
- Proficient use of technology, including MS Excel.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced credential or desire to obtain an advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (e.g., CPA, MAcc, MST, JD) and GoSystems and ProSystems experience.
