About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Real Estate team at Andersen. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in partnership taxation and real estate company concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in tax return reviews and identify client issues
  • Communicate with clients and financial managers
  • Supervise Associates and Senior Associates
  • Conduct research on various client issues
  • Participate in the professional growth and development of Associates and Senior Associates
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (e.g. CPA or MST)
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including partnership tax experience and understanding of Subchapter K and/or partnership allocations
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient use of technology, including MS Excel
What We Offer

We offer a competitive base compensation, benefits package, and discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics. For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this role is $165,000 to $236,900.

We also offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, as well as the opportunity to enroll in our firm's 401(k) plan upon hire. We provide paid time off and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
