Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will strategize, develop, and execute innovative recruiting and staffing approaches to attract a varied pool of skilled and competent professionals to our Hospitality divisions. We seek an individual with substantial experience in high-volume recruitment within the Hospitality and Restaurant industries to enhance our team, which is anticipated to expand significantly in the coming years. This role reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust pipeline of Hospitality professionals, including Executive Chefs, Sous Chefs, Assistant General Managers, General Managers, and Directors of Food and Beverage through networking and outreach.
  • Support centralized talent acquisition efforts by recruiting full-time employees across the organization.
  • Enhance and implement all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create precise and comprehensive job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Participate in career fairs at culinary training institutions.
  • Deliver a diverse array of candidates eager to join Oak View Group.
  • Identify and execute effective recruitment strategies tailored to specific roles and industry standards.
  • Manage job postings and advertising initiatives.
  • Screen applications and shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and prepare interview materials.
  • Assist in the interview process, engaging with managers and stakeholders.
  • Work with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, recommending salary ranges and other essential details.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proactive and self-sufficient with a strong initiative.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to devise and implement sourcing strategies for diverse roles.
  • Familiarity with hiring laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient in applicant-tracking software and recruitment systems.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software; experience in facilities preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of five years of recruitment experience in the Hospitality sector, covering all phases of the hiring process.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in sourcing leadership roles, typically at the Director level and above.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
