Job Summary

Volt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical support to the Constellation, Management, and Control (CMC) program area under Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the CMC program area, including director, senior managers, and program teams.
  • Report directly to the CMC Deputy Program Manager.
  • Manage office operations, maintain calendars, answer telephones, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums, and review finished reports and documents for accuracy and quality.
  • Assist with special tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the program areas.
Requirements
  • Current TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly clearance.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
  • Demonstrate experience and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of professional administrative experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on strong MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to project a courteous and professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Demonstrate experience planning and organizing schedules and events.
  • Demonstrate experience supporting senior leaders in large organizations.
  • Demonstrate experience interacting with senior levels of leadership effectively.
  • Demonstrate experience handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Input data into various company systems and applications.
  • Generate charts, tables, memoranda, reports, correspondence, and other materials with speed and accuracy.
  • Interface with senior-level external and internal customers, as well as executive support staff.
  • Calendar management, meeting scheduling, and coordination with internal and external customers.
  • Status action items to ensure deadlines are met.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with WEBTE and other client online administrative tools.
  • Assist with the preparation of customer-level and internal management reports and presentations.
  • Self-starter with initiative and independent judgment.
  • Success in a time-sensitive environment with performance deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work within a changing, dynamic environment.
  • Qualified Six Sigma Specialist.
  • Professional presence and phone/reception skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to prioritize work within a multitasking environment and stay on top of task deadlines and due dates.
  • Good judgment and take initiative to complete tasks in a self-directing manner.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of applicable experience in administrative support roles.
Compensation

$45 to $60 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
