Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Systems Engineering Specialist who will implement systems engineering methodologies throughout the various phases of the systems life cycle: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. This role involves collaboration with government entities regarding technical considerations in Systems Engineering, addressing associated challenges, and resolving conflicts. The Specialist will engage with program personnel, government representatives, and senior management to ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of deliverables across multiple process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288.
Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Process Areas: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • Project Process Areas: Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Enterprise Process Areas: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Process Areas: Acquisition and Supply.
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED accompanied by six (6) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area).
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited institution, along with two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
