Radiology Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to join our team at Ochsner Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of assigned imaging departments, ensuring quality of care and patient satisfaction through unit-specific systems and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily operations of assigned imaging departments
- Ensure quality of care and patient satisfaction through unit-specific systems and improvements
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage and develop staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Assist with research, education, and training to support cutting-edge patient care and services
- Ensure operational profitability through preliminary budgets, performance data, system reporting, and inventory management
- Support long-term strategic business plans through department-specific business planning and special projects
- Manage the physical and technological infrastructure and support organizational structures
Requirements:
- 7 years of related healthcare experience, including 2 years in supervision or management
- OR 3 years of related healthcare experience, including 2 years in supervision or management, with a bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration
- Experience in a diagnostic setting preferred
