About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a Radiology Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Radiology Department, ensuring that all procedures are performed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of Radiologic Technologists and ancillary personnel
  • Oversee the scheduling of personnel, repairs, and work progress within assigned areas
  • Participate in the budgeting process and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of service with minimum costs
  • Ensure quality images are obtained to ensure minimal complaints from physicians
  • Collaborate with staff and lead technologists to monitor supplies and ensure efficient use
  • Adapt behavior to specific patient populations and communicate effectively with patients and staff
Requirements
  • 4 years of staff technologist experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)
  • Licensed by the state of Louisiana and currently meeting the licensure and registry requirements for the state, ARRT, and the FDA (if applicable)
