About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Lead by example and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the team.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve equipment failures to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Quality Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure high-quality production and minimize waste.
  • Scheduling: Manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Supply Chain Management: Source and requisition maintenance supplies, equipment, and services within budgeted guidelines.
  • Performance Metrics: Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve maintenance execution, including PM compliance, schedule compliance, and break-in work.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication with the team, management, and other departments to promote a culture of collaboration and transparency.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Possess a valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License.
  • Experience: Minimum three to five years of work experience in a manufacturing plant as a Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in working with high-speed equipment and electric-pneumatic controls, with experience in MIG and ARC welding.
  • Inventory Management: Able to order parts and maintain inventory of maintenance-related materials.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps, gear boxes, power transmission, material handling, sensors, transmitters, DC and AC circuits, transformers, power and energy, and arc flash.
  • Automation and Control Systems: Working knowledge of automation, industrial process and control systems, PLC, measuring devices, instrumentation, robotic applications, and bulk handling systems.
  • Facility Maintenance: Experience in facility maintenance, including roof, dock, plumbing, and plant equipment such as boilers, air compressors, ammonia/freon/glycol refrigeration, HVAC, ventilation, cooling towers, condensers, backflow preventers, sprinkler and fire extinguisher systems, and wastewater systems.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Ability to plan, schedule, and assign tasks while defining priorities, required skills, and resources.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments.
