Loan Officer, Business Development Specialist

Cinnaire Corporation is seeking a skilled Loan Officer, At-Large to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and structuring loan opportunities in our 9-state footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with our Business Development team, as well as other staff who refer loan prospects. Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders to ensure timely and professional loan referrals.
- Loan Pipeline Management: Manage a pipeline of potential loan transactions that align with our business strategy and credit policy.
- Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for potential borrowers throughout the intake and feasibility assessment process, providing technical assistance as needed to structure viable loans.
- Data Collection and Tracking: Support loan pipeline data collection, tracking progress from referral through signed term sheet in our pipeline system. Ensure a smooth handoff of borrowers to the underwriting team and provide ongoing customer service as loans progress through underwriting.
- Process Improvement: Make recommendations for process improvements to support best practices in borrower intake, feasibility assessment, and provision of technical assistance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Strong communication and financial analysis skills.
- Five or more years' experience in community development lending.
- Valid driver's license.
- Analysis to Synthesis: Interprets data and information from multiple sources and translates it into coherent messages that inform decisions.
- Resource Optimization: Applies knowledge of internal structures and existing talent to accomplish a goal.
- Diversity Awareness: Identifies the benefits and advantages of harnessing the collective insights from various individuals in the organization.
- Customer Focus: Stays ahead of customer needs and uses insight to develop new and/or modify client services.
Reports to Director, Loan Originations
Supervisory Relationship: None
Physical Requirements and Travel- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
Travel Required: Up to 40%
