Revenue Cycle Manager

GI Associates is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle management process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement methodologies, as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, insurance verification, coding, charge capture, billing, claims submissions, payment posting, denial management, and collections.
- Develop and maintain key financial reports for revenue cycle performance, identifying trends and providing insights for improving revenue capture and minimizing losses.
- Analyze revenue cycle processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce denials, and accelerate collections.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, payer contracts, and industry standards, including HIPAA and other legal requirements.
- Manage and lead a team of billing, coding, and RCM staff, ensuring effective training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, preferably in a gastroenterology or multi-specialty practice.
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10), payer rules, and reimbursement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and interact with cross-functional departments.
