Role Overview

As a Territory Sales Manager Payroll HCM at Global Payments, you will be responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. Your activities will include pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. You will primarily engage in field sales to area businesses, with some business conducted over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients for the company
• Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients within assigned territories through face-to-face meetings, telephone communications, marketing programs, and other activities as needed
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify, and drive leads through the sales pipeline
• Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification, and needs analysis at all prospect levels
• Respond to customer requests for information and give online presentations
• Identify and close additional product and/or service sales with existing clients to further develop the client relationship
• Manage client relationships and expectations during the sales cycle
• Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company guidelines
