Position Overview:

The Eliassen Group is in search of a talented Procurement Strategy Specialist to enhance our Industrial & Administrative Services sourcing team. In this dynamic position, you will play a key role in formulating and executing procurement strategies for professional services that support various corporate objectives. Your responsibilities will include managing the Request for Proposals (RFP) and bidding processes, ensuring competitive pricing while refining sourcing strategies and advancing transformative initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies in partnership with essential business stakeholders for both regional and enterprise-wide projects.
  • Stay informed about commodities and market trends that impact sourcing and procurement operations.
  • Leverage analytics to uncover opportunities for enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaborations to implement sourcing strategies effectively.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, and other competitive terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and avoidance.
  • Develop and oversee requests for proposals, evaluate supplier submissions, and finalize agreements.
  • Manage post-award supplier activities, including settlements, claims, or disputes.
  • Maintain strategic supplier relationships and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Incorporate supplier diversity initiatives to align with corporate objectives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, showcasing business and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional negotiation, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in cost and financial analysis with solid business insight.
  • Prior experience in sourcing and contracting.
  • Experience in project management.
