Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence for our multi-family property clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the community, with a focus on accounts receivable and leasing.
  • Perform the duties of the Property Manager in their absence, exercising limited authority.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, and vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including processing payments, making bank deposits, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate records in property management software, documenting all relevant activities.
  • Administer the lease renewal process, ensuring timely communication with residents.
  • Generate and distribute necessary correspondence to residents and vendors.
  • Conduct inspections of move-outs to assess any charges prior to refunding security deposits.
  • Prepare month-end reports and maintain collection policies for outstanding accounts.
  • Support leasing efforts by marketing vacant units and assisting in resident functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior experience in an operational role preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in multifamily management is a plus.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Real estate license is a plus.
