Restaurant Operations Manager
As a Restaurant Operations Manager at Wingstop, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results. Your primary focus will be on maintaining operational standards, managing financial performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- People Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a diverse team of restaurant staff.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for team members and guests.
- Develop and implement performance plans to drive team member growth and engagement.
- Make final hiring and separation decisions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Create team member schedules to meet sales volumes and manage labor costs.
- Financial Management:
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to drive business growth.
- Manage cash, property, product, and equipment to optimize profitability.
- Build sales, control labor and food costs, and meet targets set by Operations Leadership.
- Set aggressive goals to drive business metrics and measure performance.
- Operations Management:
- Maintain operational standards and requirements in the restaurant.
- Identify and communicate maintenance issues to the Facilities Department.
- Maintain all facilities to Wingstop's company standards.
- Ensure effective communication across the organization, from District Manager to team members.
- Use company-provided tools to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Leverage the support of the Restaurant Support Center.
- Ensure compliance with company risk management standards.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED required, some College preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
- Minimum of 5 plus years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the restaurant.
- Demonstrated ability in recruiting and selecting team members.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative and assertiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage, train, develop, and motivate a diverse crew.
- Passionate about hospitality and serving the guest.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve.
- Ability to set goals, create action plans, and implement those plans.
- Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively.
- Cultivate an attractive culture within the restaurant.
