Printer Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Printer Field Service Technician to provide local client-facing services, including operations, maintenance, and software integration support for BookMaster One and BookMaster Pro passport personalization printer platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and maintain printer and platform condition, performing adjustments and alignments as necessary.
- Perform functional and quality checks of individual units, including disassembly and assembly.
- Clean and lubricate individual components, documenting maintenance services and delivering malfunction reports.
- Advise on maintenance activities and issues to the Government, applying software upgrades and patches.
- Adhere to a schedule for preventative maintenance, remediating Service Now tickets associated with operations and maintenance service and activity tasks.
- Support demonstrations and testing as required, providing printer and platform support during scheduled upgrades to customer network and applications.
- Lead by example, learning and demonstrating best practices for the BookMaster Pro and BookMaster One workflows.
- Maintain sufficient consumables and parts inventory to support remedial and preventive maintenance requirements.
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of State Security Clearance at the SECRET level
- Ability to travel for training, demonstrations, and supplemental support (5% of the time)
- Experience working within Department of State Passport centers
- Customer-facing technical service experience for complex products or systems
- Attentive to detail and responsive to often unpredictable demands and changing priorities
- Self-directed, independent, and adaptable
- Innate mechanical ability and facility with tools
- Experience demonstrating mastery in the operation of machines, instruments, and equipment
- Positive and optimistic attitude with the ability to communicate succinctly and effectively
- Active SECRET clearance
