Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs examinations in accordance with ACR accreditation practice guidelines and protocols for CT and X-Ray. This role works under the guidance of the Lead CT Technologist, the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, Diagnostic Imaging Medical Director, and under general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform examinations in accordance with ACR accreditation practice guidelines and protocols for CT and X-Ray.
  • Work under the guidance of the Lead CT Technologist, the direct supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, Diagnostic Imaging Medical Director, and under general supervision of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Meet the prerequisites for the role, including experience as an experienced Radiologic Technologist of 1-2 years of CT preferred, and certification as an ARRT R (RT).

Requirements:

  • Experience as an experienced Radiologic Technologist of 1-2 years of CT preferred.
  • Certification as an ARRT R (RT).
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with current certification and Licensure in VT.
