Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to join our team at Fayette County Public Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director to provide financial account and report preparations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Provide support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school supplemented by coursework in accounting
  • Associates degree or relevant certificate preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or financial analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies
